I have been combining using the back stretcher with some lower back yoga which I highly recommend doing as well. Whether or not you like the nubs on the stretcher is one of personal preference. I happen to like them and feel like they stimulate circulation and healing. If you don’t like them, you could always cover the stretcher with a towel or even a heating pad for warm relief. I will continue to use this stretcher as I feel that it is beneficial to me. It is nice to have a couple more levels to move up to when I feel like I need a deeper stretch.

I was surprised how well it does stretch your back. If you have not been stretching already start on the flattest one, it’s deceiving because it looks like it wouldn’t stretch you but it does…as my husband found out when he moved it to the second setting and immediately pulled a muscle when he tried it. Also doing it for 10 min each day is helpful, doesn’t seem long but it is, I can feel a difference in my back. Deep breathing to relax the back while using helps too. I like my trigger point roller and I like this one too, it works differently than the roller and it nice to just lay there and stretch for a few.
